I'm really glad to hear the treatment in Richmond is solid, even though (as you point out) it's not ultra important... but I'm sure it helps w/peace of mind and just generally making life easier for you and the fam.
Weird thing about the Odd Couple: I'm pretty sure I read the play first, in English class, before seeing the show. The show was iconic and inescapable for you, but I'm like 4 years younger, so I missed out until the late 80s when the reruns were showing on Nickelodeon or TBS or something like that.
Another odd thing: most of the reruns back then were at least as old, if not older. Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, and that whole family of shows was pretty popular on the days when I stayed home sick from school or had nothing better to do during the summer (pretty rare but not unimaginable). There was that Odd Couple blind spot that never seemed to occur for those other shows.
